I have not heard anything although I do not expect layoffs, but I do expect hiring freezes.
What do you think? Answer below!
Yes, the private sector is losing jobs too. Jobs are disappearing everywhere. We’ve lost over a million jobs this year.
No, uncle Sam never laid off people. What they do is to sell more bonds to China, increase their defiicit, but keep spending.
I heard the job boards are over flowing with postings. hmmmm Might be time to jump in at the ground floor before it doubles in size.
Yeah right.
We are expected to sacrafice, but not Big Government.
The lady at my post office says they are pushing early retirement and not hiring new blood. Pretty bad considering we are almost to Christmas
ha!!
Federal Government don’t cut employees–they don’t cut salaries.
They raise taxes
The Federal Gov’t is Unionized. I do not expect Momma Pelosi to let a single one go. The downsizing, and RIFing that was done in the 90′s will not happen this term
NEVER NEVER NEVER they are recession/depression proof–may even get a raise
The only market for jobs that has grown is Government jobs. I heard the story on Bill Handel on KFI Radio in Los Angeles just this morning. The report said Government hiring has increased by 23 percent.
Didn’t you hear today.
The only sector to add jobs was the government, with all those people out of work, I wonder where they will get the money.
