Question by quickquestion: Is it possible to go off unemployment for six weeks and after six weeks pick up unemployment again?
I live in Ohio and have been on unemployment since last November. A local Contractor has asked if I would like to help him build a house. He tells me he could keep me busy for six weeks and that its. So I will be without a job again. Will it be possible for me to start getting unemployment again if I go off unemployment while working for those six weeks?

Check with your state’s website, and cross-reference that to what the national guidelines say about the unemployment compensation extension that President Obama recently signed. (Which Congress passed, with barely enough votes from Republicans i might add.)
