I am planning on taking community college classes this spring for grad school pre-requisites. Being there are no jobs I really need to keep my UI benefits. How would Unemployment find out I am taking classes? The only thing I can think of is if I fill out a FAFSA, which I haven’t. Community college classes are affordable enough to pay out of pocket. Are colleges legally obligated to inform unemployment of who is taking classes? Do colleges go out of their way to inform on students?

Most if not all states allow the taking of classes while receiving unemployment insurance benefits./
