Question by me: What goes on during a “you’re being laid off meeting”?
I want to be ready. Besides the whole, “you’re being laid off”, what else is discussed? What do I sign? Which are important questions to ask? I know the day is coming…I’m trying to be prepared, as much as I can.

When you will get your last pay check, will it include remaining vacation time earned. Options you have to continue medical coverage (Cobra). Information related to your 401k (if you have one). Basically it will tie up loose ends related to income and benefits.

How much would be the compensatory payment. They need to pay u atleast 2 months salary ( as compensation). Also would they encash your pending leaves. If they have made any sort of arrangements with either other companies or recruitment companies to get u interviewed or hired.
the rest of the questions about 401k and medical coverage. Also about the provident funds.
