Do you lose your unemployment benefits if you start a job which does not work out?

I live in Florida and have been on unemployment for a little under 2 months. I have been offered a position which has a 2 week training and at the end I have to pass an exam to get the job. If I take this job and begin getting paid by the company, then I fail the exam (lose the job), will I still be able to collect unemployment, or will I lose it?

If you lost the job with no fault of your own (i.e quitting) you should still get your benefits.
Is the training period paid? If you are not getting paid for training and you fail the exam, I don’t feel you need to tell unemployment if you didn’t receive anything.

Call your unemployment office and ask if you do get paid.
