Do I include my current employer on my résumé?

And for the bullet points for my current employer, do I write them in past tense or present tense? Everything else is in past tense, but since it’s my current employer…

Thanks!

As a recruiter, I want to know if you are currently working and what your current duties are. I tend to notice when things are not in the correct tense as attention to detail is usually critical in the positions for which I hire. :-D

In your case, I would recommend listing your duties in the present tense because it matches up with the fact that you are still there. It’s okay to have the others in the past tense because you are no longer working at those places.

That’s my input and what I like to see when evaluating resumes.

Good luck!
