What should I expect at an interview for a Flight Attendant position?

Question by Stephen: What should I expect at an interview for a Flight Attendant position?
I have an interview on Tuesday, April 20th at Trans States Airlines in Bridgeton, MO. What are some things I should expect at this interview? What are some tips for a successful interview? Also, does anyone know the colors that TSA FAs wear in-flight?

First and foremost:
What do you know about Trans States Airlines? For that, check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans_States_Airlines

You need to know what airlines they operate for. Also, know what types of planes they operate for United and US Airways because that’s kinda important.

I would be prepared for questions that are customer service story intensive. Since you are the face of that airline for the duration of the flight, your service will have to be great. They will also ask you people skills questions. Next they will judge you on appearance, so you better be dressed super sharp!

Smile for everything! Even if the interview room catches on fire, if the interviewer calls you fat..smile!! Just start thinking about stories from all of your previous jobs and start making them sound great.
