Question by helloworld: How to format a resume when applying for a Junior Camp Counselor position?
I am applying for a paid internship as a Junior Counselor at a summer camp I have attended for the past two summers. I don’t have any paid job experience, but I have been in scouting more than half my life and I think I could be qualified to get the job. I want to put together a resume to send in with my application. How do I format a resume if I have no job experience?

You can follow a very similar format to a normal resume, but instead of calling the section “work experience”, you can call it something along the line of “Applicable experience” and make sure it’s clear that the roles you’ve had were volunteer (e.g. “Scout leader (volunteer)”). If you were just a participant in scouting (instead of a volunteer leading), then you’ll want to call the section something more along the lines of Extra Curricular Activities.
